Awesome MySpace Layouts

If you are one of those Japanese Anime cartoon fans, this layout
is for you. To be precise this is called “Naruto Orochimaru Myspace
Layout”. This is a snazzy little piece of a layout, designed to impress
all the manga fans.

Now about the Layout itself… A dark background with an image on the
right. It stands there like a colossus. A smaller version of the same
can be seen in the content layout. The content are well defined with
purple borders. They are thick and in fact define the content layout.

One of the best things about this layout is that all the menu items are
clearly visible. They are all in stark white and they really stand out
in the black background. They are not in your face either.

You have spaces on the top of the page as well as bottom of the page
to post banner ads. Infact the ad scheme fits in very very well with this
layout. Yeah if you are a Manga fan or an Anime fan, this one is for you.

This one literally flashes colors in your eyes. Its actually a
riot of colors, if you can call it that way. Hey wait, I am just
talking of background here. It literally changes color like a
chameleon even before you recognize the colors. Every
second the color changes into a different one. However if you
manage to survive this riot of colors, then you can have a look
at the content layout.

The content layout is pristine white with a slughtly thick and
noticeable black border. This is the only part that is very neat
and orderly. If you can manage to stave off the assault on your eyes
by the colors, you will certainly be able to read all the content very
easily. However one thing that the layout could have done without
is flashing colors on the menu items of the content. In the barrage of colors,
you can barely read what the menu items are……
So get your goggles on, here is the layout.

This layout is a very interesting layout. All you need is a couple of good pictures to get the desired effect. In the one that is being reviewed, you can find teenagers lying on the ground in a circle and over the picture is your Myspace information. Well, words are words and they simply cannot capture the beauty of this layout. Here is the picture for you

As you can see this is a cool layout. Probably can call it an extension of your personality. Coming back to the content layout, one word I can think of is “Orderly”. Another word would be neat. Everything is in its place i.e the layout is intuitive. You can easily find what you want on the layout without having peer through your glasses (I wear glasses.. …). I am not sure what the designer of this layout had in mind when he
designed this layout. A smattering of black , fluorescent green and
White. Add to this dashes of purple on some text and screen.
Sounds like Cyber Punk.

One complaint that I do have against the designers of Myspace
Layouts is their lack of understanding of user experience. Critical
Words yet, a very true statement. Backgrounds of the Top Menu
items are in Black squares.

Most of the text is in florescent green. While this color scheme
stands out on a black background, it does loose its charm on
a white background. There is ample space for Google Adsense
and other ads that you want to post.

The only good thing about the layout is that the pictures of
Friends stand out :).

An effort at making this template a cool one, but it kinda turns
out a little weird. With a smattering of colors, this one is like
a kid with his/her newly acquired paint brushes and paint.

This layout is dedicated to Bob Marley, who left us with memorable
songs like Buffalo Soldier. The interesting aspect of this layout is the
collage effect. The Collage effect ensures that you get to cover various
aspects of Bob Marley’s life.

You can find some interesting pictures of Bob Marley. There is one
which almost resembles Che Guevara. All the pictures in the theme
captures the personality of Bob Marley as a whole.

However most of the menu on the top is lost because of the pictures
that has been used in the theme. Most of the pics on top are with
a black background and the text also of the same color, the menu
items are totally lost. I almost thought there were no menu items.
Only a closer look perusal would bring out the menu.

If you are planning to post ads on your Myspace page, this layout
provides for ample space for the same.

This Layout certainly requires some fiddling around with, especially
the colors on the Menu Text.

What could a Girl who is 18 could be doing at this point of time ?
Like all others, she will at college, may be running around with her
boyfriends etc. etc….

Well, that is not Ashely Qualls does. She is a millionaire many times
over already. She runs a site called www.whateverlife.com which
co incidentally offers Myspace layouts free of cost. Her web site
attracts more than 7 million visitors and nearly 60 million page
views a month. All her revenue has been through advertising.

At such an young age Ashley has rejected offers to buy her company
out,has bought a house. She was offered a million dollars and a car ,
as long as the car did not cost more than 100,000 for her site. She
flatly refused.

All this for a site that was created by the youngster in 2004 to
showcase her web designs. As traffic grew she could not afford the
costs of hosting. On the suggestion of her hosting company she
decided to include Google Adsense. From then on she hasnt really
looked back. Her first paycheck was 2000 dollars plus. This for
someone who had to plead with her Mom for 10 Dollars a few
months earlier.
